Racen on the Nürburgring Have you ever wanted to race with your own car on the Formula 1 circuit (3.2 mi / 5.148 km) or on the long distance circuit (12.9 mi / 20.8 km)?

Ice skating Every day throughout the cold season, it's possible to ice skate in the Eissporthalle in Bitburg. From October to April the ice rink is open and offers events on ice skates
in the evening on a regular basis. In the summer season, starting in May, a fun park is created with trampolines, kicker, table tennis, basketball, streetball, hockey field and much more. (Bitburg, 9 mi / 15 km)

Canoeing The river the Kyll is 88 mi (142 km) long and offers a challenge to the experienced canoeist, especially in the spring.
In the summer the water level of the Kyll is in general not high enough to allow long trips. You can go on the river with canoes or kayaks but also Canadian canoes. The riverbed is stony therefore proper shoes are recommended. Canoes are for rent at the Naturcamp in Speicher. (Speicher, 16 mi / 26 km)

Golfing In the near surroundings of Malberg, 6 golf courses can be found that each offer a different challenge. The golf courses are all located in the beautiful landscape of the Eifel, allowing the players a view over the hillsides and fascinating Moselle valley. (Burbach, 7 mi / 12 km) |

Horse riding 5 miles from Malberg lies the village Seffern where the Riverranch is settled. Here, you can rent horses for short trips in the surroundings or follow a course in Western riding.

Cycling - Biken For the bike lover there are many possibilities in the hilly landscape of the Eifel. For the long distance cycler a route of 72 mi (115 km) lies along the whole length of the Kyll.
On the website www.eifel-radtouren.de the route can be found with several places of interest along the way. The mountain biker can enjoy himself on the small unpaved roads through the woods.
Also, several bike-routes can be found with various difficulty levels. |

Flyfishing The beginning and the experienced recreational fishermen can enjoy fly fishing in the Kyll. In parts of the Kyll it's allowed to fish with a permit. This is the case in Kyllburg and Malberg. The permits can be obtained at the municipality of Kyllburg.
